I am reading the book "The Other 1%" about Indian privilege and success. I think the author should be proud that she is part of the most successful and privileged group in America. Indians’ educational attainment and income exceed any other immigrant group and far exceed Americans. The fact that the author is writing for the New York Times is evidence of her privilege.
